Thorn Hill Education Center offers Community Education Classes and Activities. We host a variety of events including Microsoft Word, internet/email, photography, crafts, scrapbooking, holiday wreaths, and many more. All announcements will be posted here.

    PLAY WITH A PURPOSE
    Thorn Hill Education Center 5:30-6:30PM. Join the staff from Paul Sawyier Public Library to learn activities and ways to play purposefully with your child. This is for parents/caregivers and children 3-5 years old. Those enrolled in this program will meet Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 weekly from March 18-May 13 at Thorn Hill. PACT TIME

    Beginner Spanish Class
    Thorn Hill Education Center, 4:30-5:30pm. No registration required. Join us to learn basic Spanish skills that will help you be able to begin conversations. ADULT EDUCATION

    Paul Sawyier Public Library, 6:30-7:30PM. Join us for a meeting of the Kentucky Book Group, where we will discuss My Old Kentucky Home: The Astonishing Life and Reckoning of an Iconic American Song by Emily Bingham. In celebration of our state’s rich literary tradition, this book group focuses solely on Kentucky authors and/or themes. The group meets on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30pm.     GRADUATION FOR THORN HILL EDUCATION CENTER
    6pm. All grads will arrive at 5pm for cap and gown fitting and registration. Families and guests will arrive for 6pm ceremony with small reception to follow.
