Our Story
Thorn Hill Education Center has been serving the community since 1995, providing quality education and support services to adults and families. Our center was founded with the belief that education is a lifelong journey and that everyone deserves access to quality learning opportunities.
Over the years, we have grown from a small adult education program to a comprehensive education center offering a wide range of services, including adult basic education, ESL classes, family literacy programs, and career development services.

Charlie Preston
Board President
Charlie Preston serves as the Board President of Thorn Hill Education Center, bringing leadership and vision to our organization.
Kelley Anderson
Executive Director
Kelley joined Thorn Hill in June 2017 as the 9th Executive Director. She holds a Bachelors in Teaching and a Master’s in Health Education from Eastern Kentucky University, and is actively involved in the community through Rotary, Optimist, and Kiwanis Clubs.
Rita Rector
Former Executive Director
Rita Rector served as Executive Director of Thorn Hill Education Center from 2017 to 2021, continuing the legacy of excellence in adult education.
