In 2018, a restructuring of Adult Education/Skills U took place in Kentucky. The Thorn Hill Consortium was formed with: Bourbon County, Lee County, Jackson County and Estill County.
As a consortium, in 2018-2019, the consortium was fourth in the state overall. Other state statistics include: Enrollment (5th), Measurable skills gains (4th), GED Goal (3rd).
Individually, Thorn Hill was ranked 8th and Bourbon County broke into the top 25 ranking 21st in the state.
